Memories...

As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot...anything you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memeory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you!

Oh so many to choose from! When you were 17 you were a 4-H Ambassador, completing your Girl Scout Gold Award, and Co-chairman for the statewide anti-pronography convention/rally and your eyes sparkled as you achieved each of these honors and awards. You were on top of the world and I knew then that there wasn't anything you couldn't handle!!!!!!

Megs-well, I should've checked your blog before now!! I've been so busy with work lately it is just crazy!! Well, I too have so many memories I can't just tell one and let that rest easy. Not to mention, I am a writer and writers just can't stop...So, here goes the blabbing lips. We've beein friends since 4th grade. Not many adults can say that and actually mean it. So, my first memories of you were when we were two little scrawny, I am talking about you here, and a chuncky blonde girl played soccer in Logan. I, naturally, was a goalee and defender and I kicked everyone hard, literally. You were defender and mid fielder so we had our moments together on the field. After that I moved to North Logan where really met up again in 7th grade via Lisa Fellows. We'd sort of went our seperate ways as little kids and then destiny brought us two friends back together (or whatever you want to believe, the moon, or stars, or what not were aligned). My favorite memories have to be when we went scuba diving together and both certified together. Blue Lake Baby!! I just wished we could've gone more exoctic places together to dive than just Blue Lake and Bear Lake, but hey, beggars can't be choosers. I remember when my sister Liz let us drive the minivan up the dirt road leading to Blue Lake and it was so cool because we felt so old! We had to swear we'd never tell a soul, well, secrets out now, but it was great fun. I also remember being on the NL City Youth Council with you. That was a blast although we both had to deal with politics and such, but it at least taught me a lesson in life that nothing ever goes as I would predict it to. Also, my wedding...you were so beautiful! I loved how you supported me marrying Jordan, who'd you only met like 2 times, and stayed with us for hours the night before to set up for the reception. How you and I had a little bachlorette party at Chili's and ate only appitizers as our meal. How you and I used to go to midnight movies at the cheap theater with our cloud blankets and it would only be you and me (most times) in the theater. How we both agreed we'd be old maids with lots of cats for you and dogs for me. Hey, if something ever happened and we got old...I suppose it will happen someday (sighs) I am still up for Jazzy racing down the old-folks home. Jordan and Richard can be our flag men and watch dogs! Wow, so many memories I just can't say them all and give them justice! I love-ya Megs, and Richard too. You're both a perfect match and I am so glad to see you happy with him although life keeps throwing you curve balls. Kisses and hugs and everything nice!
